TOPIC: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN THE ASSEMBLY OF THE DEAD
TEXT: 2 John 1:8-11
KEY VERSE: Mat 8:22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
If we never see you in heaven, we will say you never used those things you were taught in Holiness Revival Movement well. But my prayer is that we shall all meet in heaven. A man was told by Jesus “follow Me” and the man said, “Lord, okay; but let me go back home and bury my father.” Did Jesus give him permission? No! Jesus said, “Let the dead bury their dead.” In the same way, God is telling you, “Don’t waste your time in the assembly of the dead.” What is your gain if you remain there? You have had the opportunity to be called into the light; you have had the privilege to be lifted up in ministry and you are still thinking about an assembly of the dead? I thought you have passed that stage and moved on to a higher plane. Jesus said “No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
Please be focused. You have been called; face your calling. When God called Abraham and said “Go to a land that I will show you; it is there I will make you great. I will bless you and make your name great; you will be a blessing and all families of the earth (including the ones you are leaving now) shall be blessed through you.” Abraham did not hesitate or look back. He set out, yielding completely to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Please yield completely to God in this new life of righteousness and holiness; commit yourself to it. By now your eyes should have opened to the great things God is doing in your lives through Holiness Revival Movement such that without any prompting you would start giving your own support for the evangelical works. You are unwilling to support the work of God voluntarily because in HOREMOW we don’t behave like some of these backslidden churches that cajole you to exhort money from you. Beware, otherwise you will not find yourself in Heaven; you will regret because you married yourself to tradition; you never responded to the call of Christ to higher life; you never committed yourself to it. Be careful!
Thought for the day: Seek refuge in the tent of God, not in the assembly of sinners.
Song for the day: Blessed, blessed (x2) is the man who worketh not in the…….

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
