TOPIC: GOD FORBIDS WOMEN FROM WEARING TROUSERS
TEXT: Deuteronomy 18:12-13
KEY VERSE: Deuteronomy 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

God created one world and directed by His Spirit separate dress codes for women and men. The Holy Spirit worked on it and the word of God also gave commandment on it. To transgress the commandment for any reason is a disrespect to God. For instance, you cannot use the cold climate in a place like London to justify the wearing of trousers by women.  God will not change His laws to satisfy sectional interests because His laws are of universal application in the world. There are many women in these temperate regions that are not wearing trousers and cold has not killed them. They will stand to condemn you on the last day if you die in your stubborn disobedience to God’s commandment.  Jesus said to the people of Israel, the people of Nineveh shall arise on judgement day and condemn you because they heard the preaching of Jonah and one greater than Jonah is here but you refuse to heed him. Don’t even come up with the excuse that it is the dress code in your workplace because the laws of your office or the government cannot override the laws of God. You have the option of not working in a place where they have submitted to the dictates of Satan in dress code. To take up such employment or refuse to change such employment means you have compromised faith and mortgaged your eternal life for financial interest. Hell is the ultimate destination of all disobedient children.

Honour God above your husband, above your relatives, above your friends and above your employers who may be trying to wield strong influence on you to wear these things that God has described as abominations. Satan even went ahead and introduced what is called “women trousers.” There is nothing like feminine trousers. From the beginning of age, trousers have always been the attire of men hence it is an abomination for women to wear what belongs to men (Deuteronomy 22:5). It was part of the garments sown for Levites in the Old Testament times. Exodus 28:42 And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach. In some translations, “breeches” is translated “trousers.” The same thing applies to “hosen” contained in Daniel 3:21. Dress holy to please God and stop following the fashion of the world to please men.
