TOPIC: IT IS A GREAT TRAGEDY TO SERVE GOD IN IGNORANCE OF BIBLICAL TRUTH
TEXT: Luke 19: 41-44
KEY VERSE: Proverbs 19:2 Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
Isaiah 53 was a 700 years’ prophecy describing how the Messiah would suffer and be caught up. In Matthew 16:13-23, Jesus was reflecting on His imminent suffering and death, but Peter exclaimed, “Ah, that will not happen to You.” Jesus replied, “Get behind me Satan.” Jesus called His disciple Satan because He was addressing two persons under the law of double reference: i) Satan that spoke through Peter and ii) Peter for allowing himself to be an instrument in the hands of the devil. Peter became an instrument of Satan because of ignorance. Jesus expected him to have known from scripture that He was only fulfilling prophecy, hence the rebuke. May you not be found guilty of what you should have known. There are many people in hell right now who would not have been there if they knew what they ought to know before they died. May you not get to know the truth in hell in Jesus name. May you know the truth here and may it help your soul to escape damnation in hell in Jesus name. That is why you must take all the teachings you are receiving in Holiness Revival Movement (HOREMOW) very serious.
In today’s Bible reading, Jesus the King of glory, about five days before He would go to the cross beheld the city of Jerusalem and wept over it. Jesus was looking at prophecy. He was looking at the things that will happen after He was gone. He expected the people too to know but they didn’t. He said, “If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace, but now they are hid from thine eyes.” Prophecy can be hidden, not because God hid them but because you didn’t search it out, because you got carried away by one side of the scripture and you were just celebrating yourself in half-ignorance. Jesus was weeping at their ignorance and He said, “Now they are hid from thine eyes … For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee and compass thee round … because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.” Serving God in ignorance is a great tragedy. Diligently seek all the truth of scripture for the profiting of your soul.
Thought for the day: Feed your soul with knowledge of biblical truth and prophecy.
Song for the day: Will you be ready when the Lord shall come?
Bible reading for the day:
Psalms 109-111; Romans 16

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
