TOPIC: TESTIMONY OF MIRACULOUS HEALING AT HOLINESS CAMP GROUND
TEXT: Psalm 107:19-22
KEY VERSE: Psalm 30:2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
Jesus is our great Physician who heals our sicknesses as we find in the testimony of Peter and John at the Beautiful Gate. Acts 3:1-8 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
A similar incident played out at Holiness Camp Ground as narrated by a sister who came to the camp for the first time to attend the General Conference in December 2018. She came with a brother who was very sick. Below is her testimony of healing.
“This brother was inside our vehicle very sick on our way to Holiness Camp Ground. I started blaming myself, ‘Why did we bring this sick boy along in our car? What if something happened now?’ The boy could not even lift himself up. We were helping him out. When we reached the camp ground that night, the boy could neither come out of the car nor stand on his feet. We had to leave him lying down in the car while we went in for prayers. This was the situation on the first day of the programme. His stomach was swollen and he looked skinny and pale. To our surprise, on the second day of the program, the boy stood up by himself and asked for food and ate and started jumping around the camp. Glory be to God. The Lord healeth. Hallelujah!”
Thought for the day: Lord, give me my own testimony of healing.
Song for the day: Everywhere He went, He was doing good, Almighty healer, He healed the leper…..
Bible reading for the day:
Psalms 99-102; Romans 13
