For taking your time to study remain blessed.
August Thursday 8th
TOPIC: GROW UP TO SPIRITUAL MATURITY
TEXT: Hebrews 5:11-14
KEY VERSE: Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
You have been in this movement for long but the movement is not showing in your life; you have not come out of sin. You have much testimony to give but it does not reflect in your life, you are still a babe. Every year, you remain the same. There are things we should do; we want to take you higher and begin to speak great things about God but looking at you, you can’t bear it; even up to this time. Every little thing, you complain. Every little thing, you get offended. You cannot take rebuke; you cannot take discipline; you cannot take chastisement; then, you are still a babe. You are not strong at all; you are too fragile to take the strong word. For ten years, you have not done your restitution even though you know how necessary it is to pave your way to heaven. Yet you want God to take you higher. God does not promote such people. Promotion is spiritual. To sacrifice for Jesus? Not you! You are a spiritual babe. Babes don’t go to war, so how can you collect war medals?
Close your shop and let’s go for evangelism, you say, “Ah pastor, close my shop? It is not like that oh; man must wack o.” Pastor does not know he is carrying children about. Yes, you are a child; that is why you think and behave like that. You are not mature and you cannot go for war because children don’t go for war. You cannot bear pain or endure suffering. All you need is healing and deliverance: “Pastor pray for me; I’m dreaming bad dream.” Why won’t you be dreaming bad dreams? Why won’t witches and wizards be pursuing you in your sleep? You should have outgrown that. You should have come to the point where witches and wizards are making noise and you just ignore them because you know they can do nothing. Come to that point of maturity and stop crying over every little thing. God expects you to grow up. You are worried because you have not married. That is a childish thought. The difference between a mother and a child is that the mother can be sick and yet she will still enter the kitchen to cook for the family. But a sick child will climb the bed, fold his legs, and be crying. Grow up and be an adult in Christianity.
Thought for the day: Grow up and stop being a spiritual babe.
Song for the day: Am I a soldier of the cross, a follower of the Lamb…..
Bible reading for the day:

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
