TOPIC: BEAWARE OF LOSING A GREAT MINISTRY
TEXT: Revelation 2:25-27
KEY VERSE: Revelation 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

Even if you don't have money, you have something so great and precious that the Lord has given to you. Hold fast to it till the Lord comes. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Jesus is coming very quickly. There is no time to waste. Make the best use of the time. The apostles of Jesus were twelve. The crown of one was taken because he did not hold fast his position. God has given you a ministry, beware you don't lose it. He has called you to a special service that pleases Him and puts smile on His face, be careful that you don't lose it. He has brought you to a place of His service. Be careful you don't lose it. Understand that you are not greater than those that laboured in ministry and still fell. Some have laboured for decades yet nothing came out of their ministry. That God brought you to a great ministry is a wonderful privilege. God made the choice and placed you in the place where to serve. He expects quality service, acceptable service, worthy service, REWARDABLE SERVICE. He brought you to a ministry that you know clearly there is life and truth in it and He said, serve me here. You are aware of this. Be careful that you don’t lose such a great ministry.

Jonah 1:1-3 Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord , and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. This is a call of God for specific assignment, but Jonah lost this great ministry as Bible records in Jonah 1:3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.  Don’t abandon your ministry like Jonah.

Thought for the day: Persevere to preserve your ministry.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
