WITHOUT HOLINESS YOU CANNOT GO FAR WITH GOD
April Monday  23rd
Text: Matthew 7:21-23
Key Verse: Ephesians 4:17  This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind.

You are charitable, always helping the weak and poor, ready to help gospel work, always ready to assist like America but your back is turned against God. Your reward is like somebody who has rendered service but has no account to lodge in the cheque that will be issued in payment. God appreciates your service but the reward can only be paid into your account in heaven. The documentation required to open heaven's account is holiness. Christianity without holiness is like running a relay race without a baton in your hand. In the course of service there was miracle. That’s great! In service, Jesus will answer your prayers. He is only honouring His name. He will provide for you, He will defend and protect you but all these are for service, not for heaven. The church in our time has chosen miracle above holiness of life. These days people celebrate miracles, signs and wonders, not eternal life. We see in the life of Samson that you can be operating in service with secret sin. Even in his sin Samson demonstrated anointing. God preserved him, giving him power to uproot the iron gate and even climb up the mountain because he is preparing him for service (Judges 16:1-3).

The gift of God is without repentance. You see ministers wearing jewelries, trousers, and committing immorality, yet they are preaching and leading many to righteousness. They will all go to hell. They are using the power of God but when they die they will go to hell. God told the Israelites I'm not going to drive the inhabitants away at once. I will do it little by little. That is the methodology of God in dealing with sinners. He exercises a lot of patience with them. Samson told multiple lies yet his power was still there. Rely not on your works. Let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me. That should be your confidence and boasting. You prophesy but sin is in your life? You cast out devils but greed is in your life? Get out of it for you don't go to heaven because you cast out devils. Live holy and stop abusing the privilege of calling. Exercise clear conscience and fight against anger, envy, lust, greed, covetousness and all forms of evil as you labour in service. Rewards are based on works of holiness - the services we render: by what motive, by what standard. That is the standard of measurement.

Thought for the day: Walk worthy of your calling
Song for the day: When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word
Bible reading for the day:
2Samuel 7-9; Luke 19:1-29

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
