TOPIC: HEAR THE WARNING OF GOD

TEXT: Revelation 3:1-3.

Key verse: Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous
therefore, and repent.

The God that brought you into the world is a lover. The God who created you is a lover. God in his love gives warning to the disobedient and sinners because he does not want them to perish. He sends warning because the reward of sin is death in the lake of fire and he does not want you to go there. Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Therefore, God sends you warning from time to time, not because He is weak in punishing sin, but in His infinite patience and forbearance, He gives you time to repent and turn to Him. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The prudent man hears the warnings of God and repents. Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. Warnings come in many ways. In the scripture, in counselling, in preaching, in dreams and visions.

God warned Pilate through the wife in a dream to be careful in dealing with Jesus but he would not listen. Matthew 27:19-20, 24, 26
19. When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
20. But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
24. When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it 26. … and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered to be crucified.
Pilate was more afraid of the people than God. He tried to extricate himself but he remained guilty.

King Abimelech was wiser. After receiving God's warning in a dream, he restituted to Abraham (Genesis 20). Maybe you dreamt of rapture and you didn't go. Hear the warning of God and purge yourself of every sin in your life. Or you married wrongly, do your restitution now!

Thought for the day: Do not take the warning of God lightly.

Song for the day: He loves me I cannot say why.

Bible reading for the day:
1Kings 1-2; Luke 22:54-71

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
