THE DEDICATED CHURCH
April Saturday 14th
Text: Acts 2:42-47
Key Verse: Ecclesiastes 5:1  Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

Dedication means committing something to someone. Setting apart to someone. It is a consecration. In this instance, it means consecrating the church to God. What does it mean to dedicate a church?

1. Dedicated to God in heaven and his Son Jesus Christ. Members are committed to love of God and his service. Psalm 73:25. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. That people that come here will love their God with all their might, and soul and mind. Matthew 22:37-38.
2. Dedicated to his word of truth, righteousness and holiness to preach and teach in this church. That this place will not give place to sin and iniquity. It shall serve as hospital for sinners. And the lord shall cause the sinners to come. 1 Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. The truth sets free. This place shall make people free from sin and iniquity. The truth sanctifies. This place shall be purified and it shall purify all who worship there. There shall be healing and deliverance here.
3. Dedicated to brotherly love and peace and unity. The blessings of God of diverse kinds shall be found here. Psalm 133:1-3.
4. Dedicated to soul winning and rescuing the perishing John 15:16  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. That God will gather his lost sheep into the fold through this church (John 10:16).
5. It is dedicated to judgment and justice among brethren. To rebuke erring brethren and justify the righteous (1 Corinthians 6:1-8; Deuteronomy 1:16-17). A dedicated church is a church that's promising God that we will operate in accordance with your commands without compromise (Matthew 28:18-20).
6. Dedicate to prayer and fasting for the continuous work of God. My house is the house of prayer. (Luke 19:45-46).
7. Dedicated to collect tithes and offerings (Malachi 3:9-10).
8. Dedicated to brotherly fellowship and watchfulness in readiness for the Lord's return. Hebrews 10:25.

Thought for the day: The Lord is in His Holy Temple, reverence Him in worship and service.
Song for the day: The church is matching on, the gates of hell shall not prevail
Bible reading for the day: 1 Samuel 15-16; Luke 14:25-35

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
