Plea For Righteousness And Holiness

Tuesday, January 16th

Text: John 2: 23 - 25
Key verse: John 2: 24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men.
The Lord is pleading that you should be righteous and holy. The ministers of the Lord and your leaders in the Holiness Movement are pleading with you to be righteous and holy. I who has found grace in the sight of God to superintend over you, am pleading that you should be righteous and holy. Your soul also is crying within you to return it to righteousness and holiness. So, in every respect there is a plea on you; pleading, please return to righteousness and holiness. Please come back to righteousness and holiness. Please remain in righteousness and holiness.
Man is prone to backsliding and forsaking the Lord. They forget so soon the acts of divine love, mercy, and grace they have received from God. Man is not steadfast in the truth he has received. He will always want to turn away after some time. It may not be so for all men but for the majority. A study of domestic animals reveals that dogs are not like cows, goats, or sheep. If you put food for dogs, they will eat to satisfaction but it is not like that with cows, goats, and sheep which eat here a little and move a distance; not that the food has finished here but they move to another place to eat there also. That is their nature. Part of this nature is in man. He will not want to stay even when all is there. He will want to move. He will want to try his own.
Why did Adam and Eve not stay permanently with God? When the devil suggested another state to them different from the state God put them into, they were willing to go there to become like God. That is the problem with man. Take care of your mind and heart lest you will abandon this good thing the Lord has given you. With testimonies from heaven backing up these teachings, you may still abandon them. Take care of yourself for Jesus knew what was in man.  Is it not the same people that cried, ‘Hosanna’ that later cried, ‘Crucify Him?’

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The Source Of Faith

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. The Source Of Faith  Tuesday 18th March Text: Romans 1:16-17 Key Verse: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 What is the foundation for our faith? The faith of the just man has the following sources, from where it gets its inspiration. The Word Of God: The foundation of the faith of the just, is the word of God.  The word of God is the production room of the faith which the just exercises. The faith of the just has its foundation in what God has said in His word.  Faith seeks for what God has said to stand upon.  Have you seen the promises of God for you, from the word? Have you seen God's message for you, in the scriptures?  Believe it absolutely, and it shall surely come to pass. This will enhance your faith for subsequent needs of your life. “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, ...
