God Gave Me Success After Many Trials (1)

Thursday, January 11th

Text: Psalm 142: 1-7
Key verse: Psalm 61:1 “Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.”
My name is sister Jane from Bayelsa State. I finished my secondary school education in 2019 and sat for my WASCE and NECO. I did not register in my school but in a deeper life pastor’s school to avoid malpractice. To my surprise, it was a total failure for all that wrote in that school. I later heard that anybody who registers in that school does not pass because the principal refuses to cooperate with invigilators. I registered in another school the following year. By the grace of God, I made my papers except for Mathematics and Physics. Since then, I have written a lot of exams including GCE twice to get a credit in Mathematics. I have written JAMB twice; I scored above 200 and even gained admission once into the school of nursing but could not do clearance due to my incomplete SSCE result.
In 2022, I did not register because I was not happy with God. I was so disappointed, depressed, frustrated, and despised that I almost gave up. I began to think of suicide. I started going back to my past sins. At the 2022 youth conference, I repented and started drawing closer to God and He encouraged me to register for the exam again. Early in 2023, I dreamt that I went to Daddy Paul Rika and Mummy Linda to explain my problem to them and they prayed for me. I thanked them, and then I woke up.
One day, the vice principal of the school where I registered told me that the school had discussed my matter and that since I had written many times, they had decided to help me with the malpractice for free but I refused. I could see shock all over his face. Before then he had told me that someone can't write the examination on his or her own and make it. I left his office and told my parents later on. They were really worried for me and they were also getting tired of the repeated examinations. I was even the one who encouraged and assured them that I was going to pass this time around.
Thought for the day: Be determined never to compromise your faith.
Song for the day: When I remember what the Lord has done …
Bible reading for the day: Genesis 36-38

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
