Diverse Ways God Speaks (1)

Thursday January 25th

Text: 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Key verse: Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
The term, “All scripture is given by the inspiration of God” refers to the word of God. All scripture is written! Now there are people who stay by that which is written. They say that is where I stay my faith, that which is written. You are correct but you are not perfect. You are not complete because the word does not come only in the written. It has other forms that it assumes. It is also the revealed word. Whether it is written or not written it is still the word of God that comes by revelation. This shows that the mind of God in that matter is not known but God in His working makes it to be known.
By the Revealed Word: The scriptural portion above shows clearly that the word of God is the revealed word. If He does not reveal it don’t trouble yourself about it. It belongs to Him. More so, God cannot tell you everything. He’s God. He knows what to let you know and what He may not let you know. But those things which are revealed belong unto us and our children. God is still the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. His revelation, revealed word is still working in the church and it is the word of God equally as the written word. The revealed word is still actively working in the church up to today because God is still in the church. He’s alive forevermore. The revealed word will still be working tomorrow because God is the same tomorrow and that is still the word of God. You will not say my own I stand on the written word. You may miss it. He also speaks by revelation. It is still the word. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are valid till today. If they are valid, do we still have the gift of prophecy today? Do prophets speak by the word of God? Then the revealed word is still here up till today and till tomorrow.

Thought for the day: As long as there are prophets, there shall be revelations of God.

Song for the day: Jesus the same yesterday, today and forever …

Bible reading for the day:  Exodus 31-34

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
