QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON HOLY COMMUNION

God's blessings shall follow you for taking the time to study

TOPIC: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON HOLY COMMUNION

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 10:16

FRIDAY OCTOBER 13RD

Key verse: Luke 24:47: “And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
Question: Some churches take communion every now and then, causing people to go there because they believe that since man is prone to sin and temptation, by taking part in it, his sins may be cleansed. Now what are the pastors who are bestowed with the responsibility of uniting the church going to do?
Answer: The idea that taking the Holy Communion cleanses from sin is erroneous because the forgiveness and cleansing of sins means you are no more committing sin. If your sins are forgiven it means that sin has been removed. The record of sin on you has been canceled and you have received power to sin no more. The fear of God will come into you and you won’t do it again. Our key verse says that repentance and remission of sin should be preached in His name among all nations. Not that somebody will confess today and go back to the same thing tomorrow. No. He that is born of God does not sin for His seed is in Him; he cannot sin because he is born of God. As a believer, if you go into error, come back to God and ask for forgiveness. He will forgive you and give you the power not to sin no more but if you keep sinning then you are not born again. The Holy Communion does not provide forgiveness of sin; it is an ordinance to remind us of the death, resurrection, and return of Jesus Christ. The emblems remind us of the shed blood and body of Christ.
Whoever partakes unworthily eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body hence many are dead and sick among you because you eat it in your sin. It is not something you eat for forgiveness or holiness. No! It makes you remember the Lord’s death until he comes. So, as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you show the Lord’s death until He comes as often as possible. We observe Holy Communion during conferences.  Churches can choose the period they want to take it. well, wisdom will be called into that because when it becomes too frequent, it will be communized.

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
