FREEDOM FROM LYING SPIRIT

God's blessings shall follow you, for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: FREEDOM FROM LYING SPIRIT

TEXT: PROVERBS 6:16-19

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 18TH

Key verse: John 8:44 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
A lie is a statement, report or an action purposely presented with the intention to deceive somebody or to exonerate oneself or someone else from blame, or to gain some benefits. Also, a promise made without the intention of fulfilling it, is a lie. There are many reasons that make people to tell lies. Here are some of them: To deceive others, to get rich, to hide sin, to promote oneself, for pride, to give lying testimonies and to cause division and strife.
There are consequences of lying. Whatever a man sows he will also reap (Galatians 6:7-8). These include death – Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:3-5) and God`s divine judgment (1 Kings 22:29-35). Lying is an abomination to God (Provervs12:22), it sows seed of discord among brethren (Proverbs 6:19), it encourages rebellion against God (Proverbs17:11) and leads to the lake of fire (Revelation 21:8).
Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
To be freed from the spirit of lying and escape its consequences, there is need for deliverance from the spirit of lying (Psalm 120:2). You must hate lying with passion (Ephesians 4:25, Colossians 3:9). Cry out now before God for your forgiveness and salvation (Isaiah 55:7). Confess your lies to the Lord and to the fellowmen you have deceived and cheated. Restitute the gains of lying (Ezekiel 33:14-16), Purge yourself from lying spirit (2 Chronicles 7:14, Job 27:3-6)

Thought for the day: Make a solemn promise not to speak lie, report lie or act lie.

Song for the day: I live for Jesus day after day… the Holy Spirit I will obey…..

Bible reading for the day: Isaiah 65-66; 2 Thessalonians 1

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
