TOPIC: WHY PASTORS FAIL TO PREACH AGAINST UNGODLY DRESSING

TEXT: MATTHEW 13: 24-30

THURSDAY OCTOBER 26TH

Key verse: Matthew 13: 25 “But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.”
Pastors do not preach against this because they already failed from the beginning. It started when women began to split their skirts so that as they moved their thighs were exposed. They climbed the pulpit area to minister dressed like that and the pastors did not say anything, not knowing that it was from the devil to destroy people’s hearts. Instead of rejecting it, they were managing. “Why not remove your eyes? Who asked you to look there?” So, they kept on managing. At first, they tore it at the back but when they had trained enough people and gathered some converts, they wanted to increase the converts, so they tore it in the front.
You could see these women coming to church with openings into their bodies but the pastors did not talk because pastors’ wives were among them. They said nothing until information came from the marine world that they should tear it in a way that people should no longer be struggling to gaze through. It became a mini skirt. Still, they did not preach against it although some strong churches withstood them as they began to tear their skirts. I do not allow sisters who dress badly to ask questions in programs; not to embarrass them but to show the importance of godly dressing as part of the message of holiness and to know that decency must be established.
With that, they will know that we are not joking because the message is made practical. If they had done like that in the churches this ungodly dressing would have died but they ignored it. Then they reduced the mini skirt further and made it so tight that when a woman sits down, she must force her legs together or cover partially with a handkerchief have now moved on to trousers. They first used bogus trousers because Satan is very subtle. Nobody talked against it; rather he raised up preachers to promote it; “Ah! What is wrong? Does God bother about your dressing? God only looks at the heart.” They argued that they were female trousers and that trousers were for women originally.

Thought for the day: Be sober and vigilant because of our adversary, the devil.

Song for the day: Hold the fort, for I Am coming, Jesus signals still…

Bible reading for the day: Jeremiah 17-19; 1 Timothy 6

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
