God's blessings shall follow you, for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: COOPERATION FOR FAMILY PEACE, UNITY AND PROGRESS

TEXT: PROVERBS 30:7-9

THURSDAY OCTOBER 19TH

Key verse: Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
Some ministers mistakenly quit their jobs immediately after they received God’s call into ministry, thereby causing much sorrow in their families. Things become hard for the family and to eat becomes a challenge. Out of desperation, the family may be tempted to dip hands in things they ought to abstain from. They find themselves in this unfortunate situation because they did not ask from God. Get God’s expectations concerning your family. God who has called the head of the family is interested in the peace, unity, and progress of that family. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Can peace, progress, and unity be achieved in the family without money to meet the basic needs of the family? Money answers all things, so money has its role to play in families in order to achieve peace.
God is the one that prospers. Let Him be the one to lead you in the way to go or follow. Isaiah 48:17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. God teaches us to profit. He leads us by the way we should go. Care must be exercised for many men of God are no more in the faith because money has carried them away and that wind is still blowing till today. How then can a minister generate money and still stand to do the work of God? Paul who combined tent-making with ministerial duty is a good example. Find something legitimate to do to feed your household. Above all, let there be cooperation and oneness in the family in order to fully harness the family's potential.

Thought for the day: Care for your family to avoid making yourself irrelevant.

Song for the day: Shepherd of my soul, I give You full control…

Bible reading for the day: Jeremiah 1-2; 2 Thessalonians 2

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
