WHY SOME DENOMINATIONAL PASTORS SHY AWAY

God's blessings shall follow you for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: WHY SOME DENOMINATIONAL PASTORS SHY AWAY

TEXT: ROMANS 8:5-8
MONDAY OCTOBER 23RD

Key verse: Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God
Though the Holiness Revival Movement is non-denominational and open to all denominational pastors and churches, I came to the understanding that many denominational pastors who had earlier joined withdrew along with their members for the following reasons: They feared that they would lose offering. So, they withdrew because of money. This is in spite of the fact that I often tell the congregation to pay their tithe wherever the Lord leads them, Holiness Movement is not established for money-making. God Himself finances the work, and he uses those who are willingly available. About two years ago, someone sent more than $100,000 and said I should do whatever will glorify God, and you see the work moving. Let not money come in and hinder the souls of men. We avoid compulsion, but then these people became afraid and withdrew from the movement.
They could not practice the high standard of the word (John 6:59-69). The doctrinal teachings are hard, but there is no alternative. Those who stay back remain because they desire eternal life, and there is no alternative. Some left because they could not preach the message truthfully. A lying tongue is but for a moment. There is a time when your lie will find you out. So, all who pretend to preach holiness will, with time, cease because how long will you pretend to act your height? They feared the members would eventually discover their nakedness, so they withdrew. Some withdrew because Satan attacked them and discouraged them. They are like the seed that fell by the wayside; the birds of the air came and picked them up. They withdrew because they were not heavenly-minded They withdrew because they were more interested in the things of the earth (1Corintians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable).

Thought for the day: There is more to life than money.

Song for the day: My lifetime, I will give God my lifetime…if I give God my life….

Bible reading for the day: Jeremiah 9-10; 1 Timothy 3

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
