TRINITY OF THE GODHEAD REVEALED IN THE BAPTISM OF CHRIST

Text:  Luke 3:21-22

WEDNESDAY MAY 17th

Key Verse: Matthew 3:16-17 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him and was the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
In the baptism of Jesus Christ, we see the Trinity of the Godhead clearly revealed. There is something to learn from the above verses, the Father was in heaven and the Holy Ghost descended in the shape of a dove from heaven and miraculously rested on Jesus. Note the following: Jesus was in human shape; Holy Ghost was in dove shape. The Father was in His power in Heaven. Can we say the Holy Spirit is a dove? No. He is God! What about Jesus that took the body of a man? Was Jesus a man? Who is He? He is God! God can take any shape He desires to fulfill a purpose that is in His heart. So, even though Jesus took the shape of a man, He was actually God. Jesus assumed the dual personality of God-man. It is a unique miracle! As man, He was lower than God the Father, but as God, He was equal with the Father.
John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved Me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for My, Father is greater than I.
In the above Scripture, Jesus showed that the Father was greater than Him because He had taken the form of a servant (a man). As a man, Jesus became a messenger. As a Son, He was doing the will of His Father. For this reason, His Father was greater than Him, not in His form as God but in His form as a man on earth. It is in this regard that Jesus said in the following verse, “I came from My Father and I am going to My Father.” John 16:28 I came forth from the Father, and Am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. Jesus was saying in essence, “I left My Father to come into the world and took on human form, but now I am going back to My Father.” This again shows clearly that Jesus is different from the Father.

Thought for the day: Jesus assumed the dual personality of God-man.

Song for the day: Everlasting Father, Everlasting Son, Immortal Holy Spirit…

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
