THE DANGER OF IGNORANCE IN CHRISTIANITY

God bless you for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: THE DANGER OF IGNORANCE IN CHRISTIANITY

Text: Leviticus 4:1-5

FRIDAY MAY 19th

Key Verse: Leviticus 5:17 "And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity"
Ignorance means that you do not know the law. It means you do not know the way which is dangerous. If you step on a snake ignorantly, does it stop it from biting you? Ignorance is like one carrying a letter, not knowing the content of the letter, just like Uriah that carried a letter that killed him. It is like you are in a place and you did not know what that place is made of and that the place is meant for you. Ignorance is just like a student who did not know there will be exams, and because he didn't know he went away.
If you park your car where you should not park, the Traffic officer will ask why you parked there. They will tell you it is wrong to park there. Even if you did not know that it was wrong to park there, you have already offended and you will be penalized. There are dangers and penalties for your ignorance.
You cannot stand before God and say you did not know all that are required for heaven. A Moslem will not stand before God to say he did not know that Jesus is the way, our leaders and teachers only told us about Mohammed and I didn't know they were not telling us the truth. That Moslems will not be allowed to enter heaven because of his or her ignorance. The same applies to a Catholic who prays through Mary; he will not tell God that he did not know that praying through Mary is a sin. His ignorance will not offer him entrance into heaven. If you sin ignorantly, that does not mean that you will not be punished for it.
A pastor can sin ignorantly maybe by teaching what he did not know or understand and the congregation under him will suffer much. Some members go to hellfire because they believe the teachings of their pastor which was not according to Bible standards If a pastor is ignorant of the truth of God, the followers will also be ignorant and in danger of ending up in hell.

Thought for the day: Ignorance is no excuse in law

Song for the day: The Lord knows the way through the wilderness

Bible reading for the day: 2 Kings 23-25; John 7:1-31

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
