THE TRINITY OF THE GODHEAD

God bless you for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: THE TRINITY OF THE GODHEAD
TEXT: EPHESIANS 4: 4-6

FRIDAY MAY 26th

Key Verse: 1 John 5: 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
There are many confusions, misconceptions, and errors circulating in Christendom concerning the idea of the divine Trinity in the Bible. The doctrine of the Trinity of the Godhead is a mystery. The word Trinity does not appear in the Bible, but we have a concept of it. The LORD our God is one God in three persons and three persons in one God. The three Persons are distinct or separate but are all equal and of the same essence and nature. (Deut. 6:4-5, Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord…). In the basic description of Him: God is Spirit, Light, Love, and a consuming Fire. His essential attributes:  God is Eternal, Immutable, Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. Among His moral attributes are perfect holiness, righteousness, love, and faithfulness. Like in the Godhead, man also exists in three components: spirit, soul, and body.
The Father is God, the Creator; The Son Jesus is God, the Creator; The Holy Spirit is God, the Creator. Some believe that Jesus is the Father and also the Holy Spirit. This is a misconception as it would make only one person and not three. Some also say that, the Father is the Creator of Jesus because He sent Jesus to the world. This is also false, as Jesus is the Creator Himself. Genesis 1:26, let us make man in our image.’ Some also say that the Holy Spirit is not a personality but a force. This is false, as it relegates Him to not being a living Being. John 14: 16-17, Jesus said, I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever.
The Godhead is perfect in power, love, and unity, as we see they are equally involved in the conversion of the soul. That is why we use the method of baptism in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19). There are three which bear record in heaven; The Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one. 1 John 5:7. That they may be one, even as we are one.

Thought for the day: Be perfect even as our heavenly Father is perfect

Song for the day: We welcome the Father, we welcome the Son …

Bible reading for the day: 1 Chronicles 17-19; John 10:1-21

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
