LET BROTHERLY LOVE CONTINUE

God bless you for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: LET BROTHERLY LOVE CONTINUE

TEXT: HEBREWS 13: 1-4

THURSDAY MAY 25th

Key Verse: 1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
We must be aware that many things come up in our lives to challenge the pure Christian love in the church, in the family, and in the marriage. Regardless of these things, we are admonished to ensure that brotherly love continues. We have to do good to entertain strangers. Or else we will be continually suspicious of everyone. We will always be fearing. There is no love at times, but the Bible tells us that perfect love casts out all fear. So, our love must be perfect; it must be intact else we cannot live a holy Christian life. Though there are challenges of ungodliness, which makes the relationship difficult, brotherly love must continue. We have to be patient and tolerant or else we will be always angry at the weaknesses and failures of others. Peter was not sure if he had the strength to continue loving and forgiving others who are constantly causing frustration.
Matthew 18: 21-22, ‘Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, until seven times; but, until seventy times seven.’
Jesus speaks of forgiveness beyond what anyone had ever considered before. This is a limitless number of times, which means that we are to be prepared to enable and encourage brotherly love at all times, at any cost. This is a commandment, that we love one another. Owe no man anything but love. Always have a reservation of love for man. It’s risky not to show love. Even though we’re cautious and careful, we still show love. In Luke 10:31, the common treatment was to avoid, but the good Samaritan did not let anything stop him from doing good and kindness. Sometimes the suspicions are not correct, so we should not add to them, but be patient to prove them. Love is an indication of your Christianity. For example, a clock is only good when it shows the correct time, so a Christian is only a Christian when love is evident.

Thought for the day: Love is an indication of your Christianity

Song for the day: With the love of God in me, I will love as God loves…

Bible reading for the day: 1 Chronicles 14-16; John 9:24-41

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
