God bless you for taking the time to study.

HOLINESS REVIVAL MOVEMENT WORLDWIDE, HOREMOW

DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR PAUL RIKA INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR

DATE: THURSDAY MAY 11, 2023

TOPIC: BE STRONG IN THE LORD

TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:10-18
10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
11. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

KEY VERSE: EPHESIANS 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

There are things you need to do to be strong in the Lord. In life, people are told to take some vitamin drugs, food supplements and tea, saying, “They will help you! They will give you strength! This will take care of any sickness! They will boost your immunity!” And because you want to be strong and healthy, you go for these things.

What do you go for in Christ to be strong in the Lord? What spiritual vitamins do you have for your spiritual life? Make effort to acquire Christian materials; books, magazines, tapes, bibles and commentaries. have prayer.

Get prayer sessions in tapes. Arrange a powerful prayer session from sessions you know you have listened to in tapes; cut and join the prayer sessions together to form an hour or more of prayers. Any time you are weak, play it and struggle there to wake up; crying, shouting and binding.

Have you kept essential messages for times of weakness to make you strong in the Lord? Do you have prayer partners to pray with physically or on phone or zoom, to help you not to backslide? With all your Christian life, demons harass you when you sleep. You have to rise up.

But when you are in prayer you will not see those things. Which means God allowed them to come and wake you up in prayer. Sister stop crying and rise up against spiritual husband. Spend time to pray. Bind, break and cast it out. You will not see it again.

What effort are you making to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might? What are you doing to develop your faith? Faith in God is enough to quench those things; you may not even pray. If you have a bad dream and you are not afraid because your heart has been exercised in Christ to let you know that nothing will happen to you. That is faith!

Be strong in the Lord not be casual in the Lord but you are casual! How many hours do you pray per day? Regular fervent prayers will make you strong in the Lord. It is these ingredients I am telling you about that you need. Gather them together, you will be strong.

Thought for the day: As you care for physical health also care for the spiritual.

Song for the day: I’m pressing on the upward way.

Bible reading for the day: 2 Kings 1-3; John 3:22-36

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
