QUALITIES OF ACCEPTABLE AND REWARDABLE SERVICE

God bless you for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: QUALITIES OF ACCEPTABLE AND REWARDABLE SERVICE

TEXT: 1 PETER 5: 1-6

TUESDAY MAY 2ND

Key verse: Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
(I).  Faith: Faith says God calls you and will reward you. Do not allow any situation to distract you.
(ii).  Faithfulness: Do it according to pattern; according to Divine specification.
(iii).  Humility: Be humble so you can perform service unto God. If you see yourself as highly placed, you may be directing works to younger ministers under you to do while some of these works may be for you. Where other people are assigned responsibilities and you are left out, God must have chosen somebody at that time to do it, so be humble and listen.
(iv).  Holiness: Cloth yourself with the garment of holiness as a believer.
(v).  Sufferings: It is given to all believers not only to believe in Christ but to partake in His sufferings. There is a reward if you suffered with Him.
(vi).  Wisdom: is the principal thing. Seek it and seek understanding.
(vii).  Love: should be the principle on which you work.
(viii).  Prayer: The effectual, fervent prayers of the righteous avails much.
(viii).  Righteousness: Note that the little service rendered in righteousness is greater than the great one without holiness.
(ix).  Divine pattern and Trust: If your service is done with patience in line with the divine pattern, it gives sweet savour coming out of a pure heart.

Thought for the day: Be humble and pure while rendering service unto God

Song for the day: My lifetime, I will give God my lifetime

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
