IMPLICATION OF DEVIATION FROM BIBLICAL TRUTH

TOPIC: IMPLICATION OF DEVIATION FROM BIBLICAL TRUTH

TEXT: GALATIANS 1: 6-12

TUESDAY MAY 23rd

Key Verse: Titus 1: 9, ‘Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.’
God wants us to be a debtor to the truth and be ready to preach it everywhere without fail and change. Paul was committed to this truth because he knew without a doubt that it was true. It came to him by revelation and he knew that it must not change because it is the perfect truth. He warns the people against deviation and never to be removed from it. We are admonished to hold fast to these faithful words as we have been taught, that we may be able by this sound doctrine to exhort and convince the gainsayers. Holding firm the word of truth, without changing, perverting, or diluting it. Preachers that are moving from church to church for money: they are preaching not for eternal salvation. They are established as a company or a business center to make money. We should not deviate by submitting ourselves to them. They lack vision, so they and the people under them perish. Under them, there is no progress in your Christian life; you were in the hands of sinners and vain talkers.
It’s easy to divert: different churches call you with another voice. Come and take this or that, the oil, the cloth, etc. You will have deviated from the truth. They trouble you with their false teachings, saying faith is not enough. They twist the scriptures and turn it around to suit themselves. They confuse the teachings of Christ's order in Baptism in the name of the Father, and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, saying its in Jesus Name; they argue that the natural hair cannot be plaited, they argue to defend the worldly practice of women wearing trousers, makeup, weave on; they teach and defend second marriage. The implication is that they are cursed. The judgment of God will overtake them. Anyone who deviates from Biblical truth will lose their place because they are damning souls to hell. They are like the Pharisees who want to shut you out of heaven; preaching heresy. Be careful to commit the word of life to faithful men, who are willing to preach the truth.

Thought for the day: Ancient words, ever true; changing me and changing you

Song for the day: I will never, never go back to the world.

Bible reading for the day: 1 Chronicles 8-10; John 8:37-59

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
