The Qualities of Rewardable Service

For taking your time to study remain blessed.

Topic: The Qualities of Rewardable Service October Tuesday 13th

Text: Philippians 2:14-18

Key verse: 1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

God only rewards services rendered to Him in holiness and righteousness. Therefore, ensure there is no deviation from the heavenly vision and command. Here are some of the ingredients of rewardable service:

• Faith: Serve God in total trust. Do not allow anything distract you.

• Faithfulness: Do it according to pattern and divine specification.

• Humility: Humble yourself in service. Where responsibilities are assigned to others and you are left out, God must have chosen somebody at that time to do it so humble yourself and listen. Don’t always say, “It must be me.” That will be carnality. Holy men wrote as the Spirit moved them. There is collective responsibility in holiness.

• Holiness: Cloth yourself with the garment of holiness as an ambassador of Christ. Little service rendered in righteousness is greater than great one without holiness.

• Suffering: There is reward when you suffer with and for Christ.

• Wisdom: Wisdom is the principal thing. Seek it and seek understanding also.

• Love: Let it be the principle on which you work

• Prayer: This will give you victory.

• Divine Pattern: If your service is done with patience in line with divine pattern, it gives sweet savour coming out of a pure heart like venison coming from Esau to Isaac.

God shall bless you with great treasure.

A crown is waiting for you brother, sister. God is your great reward and inheritance. He will cause His presence to surround you. The greatest reward is that the Lord is with you in this life and thereafter, He will take you to heaven.

Thought for the day: God is your shield and exceeding great reward.

Song for the day: Standing on the promises of God...

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
PRACTICE OF PRAYER AND FASTING.  WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 1 TEXT: ISAIAH 58:1-8                                                                                                        Key verse: “And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day”  Luke 2:37. The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.  Monday 10th November  Text: Jude 1: 2-5 Key verse: Jude 1: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith of Jesus has already been delivered and it is written in the scriptures. Whatever prophecies, revelations or dreams that comes must not be contrary to the standard in the scripture. They must speak the same thing. The testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Every prophecy or revelation must honour Jesus and must be according to the written word. Even where they are new things, they must not contradict because the Bible is a summary of the things Jesus did. The Bible cannot contain all things. It must be according to what the scripture has already signified, ...
