TOPIC: WE DRESS TO COVER, PROTECT AND HONOR OUR BODIES

TEXT: EXODUS 22:26-27

KEY VERSE: EXODUS 20:26-Neither shalt thou go up by steps into mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.

We dress to cover our nakedness. In Exodus Chapter 20, after the Ten Commandments have been given, what followed afterwards was the command on dressing. Do not let your nakedness be discovered. You are a pastor or a minister in Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide; whether at home or anywhere, where there are other people, apart from your wife, is your nakedness seen? Is it discovered? This you have to ask yourself.
Let not your nakedness be seen in your dressing, even in your own house, if you are not alone with your wife. Your nakedness should not be seen.

We dress to protect our body. Why do you put on clothes? It is to protect your body or the members of your body. You put on some clothes to protect your body from bad weather, insects and some things that would have destroyed it. God also has made the human body to be protected. That's the reason why He made or gave the commandment for clothes or garments to be put upon the body.

We dress to honour our body. In 1 Corinthians 3:17, 6:19, your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and should not be defiled. Thus, what are you putting upon that temple? If the Holy Spirit is to speak to you, will He rebuke you or correct you with what you are dressing? Will you be acceptable? Will the Holy Spirit say, “Yes, what you are wearing is pleasing unto Me? That which you put upon that which God has built, which is the temple of God, should be honorable.

We dress as Christians to show that we are not under traditions of men. There are Christians or ministers that argue, “I am from this place and my people dress this way. If I don't dress like that, I won't be identified with them”. Then you are not yet a holy minister. You have not come out from amongst them. You must show that you are not under the tradition of men but under the tradition of God.

Thought for the day: Cover your nakedness to protect and honor your body.

Song for the day: I am the clay, You are the Potter, Lord mold me as You want

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
