TOPIC: KNOWING THE WILL OF GOD IN MARRIAGE

TEXT: PSALM 119:11-16,105

KEY VERSE: PROVERBS 18:22 Whoso Findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD

A believer who wants to marry will seek God in prayer. God speaks in a simple language that the hearer will understand but the problem of many people is how to know that God is speaking to them. They desire to come to the point that they know without difficulty that the Lord has spoken or is speaking to them.

The relationship the believer has with God is as the one a child has with his parents. A new born babe may not discern the voice of the mother but it will not take long before he will become acquainted with the voice of the mother who regularly speaks with him. Therefore, understand the voice of God; how He speaks to you.

God reveals His will in marriage through the following means:
God speaks audibly: even till today God may choose to speak audibly to you, to communicate to you his will in marriage. This voice may not be heard by everybody around you but by you only.

An inner knowledge and understanding: God made Adam to know his will by an inner knowledge in his heart. Adam was not aware of the plan of God to make a woman for him but as soon as he saw the woman, he knew she was his wife.

Dreams, visions and revelations: in the case of Joseph, God used dreams to convince him of the blessed future He had for him.

God leads through circumstance:
God led Saul to Samuel to anoint him over Israel by a circumstance that had no bearing to kingship.

God leads through inspired counselling: God gave Ruth a husband through inspired counselling. When praying for God`s will in marriage beware of evil counsellors, self-will, stumbling blocks on the way, consequences of immorality and idolatry, complication from unequal yoke in marriage etc.

When you know the will of God in marriage, contact your pastor and he will direct you to the marriage committee who shall direct you on what to do

Thought for the day: Pray earnestly when seeking the will of God in marriage.

Song for the day: Open my eyes oh Lord, halleluiah 2x

Bible reading for the day: Jeremiah 31-32

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2)

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2) Wednesday 15th October TEXT: Titus 3: 3-6   Key verse: Titus 3: 6 “Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” I remember I was in Sao Tome and Principe as a deeper life national overseer and I was writing the book, “Divine Revelation of God’s Holiness and Judgment.” The vision the Lord gave to Michael Sambo. I was translating it into a book, with the scriptural backups to make it a sound evangelistic book. I saw that truly the world is doomed. What will I say about those who have not known Jesus among the 7 billion people on earth; those who do not even have anything to do with Him? Do I speak of the billions in Asia without understanding of Jesus? Out of the 1.4 billion in India, they are struggling to record 150 million Christians including Catholics.  Who knows Jesus then? Even among Pentecosta...
