TOPIC: GOING TO HEAVEN IS NOT ON THE BASIS OF FAMILY BUT INDIVIDUALS

TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 30:15-20
15. And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.
16. And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;
17. Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.
18. It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest.
19. All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.
20. Thou shalt eat it before the LORD thy God year by year in the place which the LORD shall choose, thou and Thy household.

KEY VERSE: EZEKIEL18:4 “Behold all souls are Mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is Mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die”

Central to the Christian life is Individualism. Going to heaven is not on the basis of family, nation or tribe but as an individual. We see many areas of the scriptures pointing to the right of an individual. The scripture says “the soul that sinned it shall die”-Individualism.

Jesus said “And if I go and prepare a place, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, ye may be there also”. This also involves individual’s choice.

Believers are expected to see themselves as an entity running a race to achieve a goal, heaven. If they see themselves on the basis of individualism, many things will be avoided. For instance, a family member will not stage a protest against church leadership on why should his or her relation be accused of witchcraft or of embezzlement? Or consent to any member of the family or tribe that is on discipline to leave a holy ministry like Holiness Revival Movement.

God called people individually. When one received the Lord Jesus Christ as His Lord and personal savior, he must care for his or her soul because he or she is called alone and will either go to heaven or hell alone. Let nothing be allowed to stern your garment as a child of God, so intelligently exercise the right of choice in matters of your salvation. If you get lost, you will be alone.

We shall stand before God individually. Employ the Berea Christians principle in your Christian life. Subject every church, mister and ministry to scriptural judgment to know whether you see the presence of God, the holiness of God in them and the seriousness of the teaching that can qualify you to enter heaven.

If you noticed sin in them such as any form of immorality, Lesbianism, Homosexuality, lying, worldliness in attire, bleaching, attachment etc, know that you are lost and need to intelligently exercise your right of choice on where best to serve God and go to heaven.

Thought for the day: You are called alone, if you get lost, you are doomed alone.

Song for the day: I will see Jesus, someday, sometime, in the sky.

Bible reading for the day: Jeremiah 6-8

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
