TOPIC: COMMITMENT TO PRAYER AND FASTING (PART 2)

TEXT: MARK 9:29 And He said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

KEY VERSE: PHILIPPIANS 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Prayer and fasting is the most irresistible force that makes the impossible possible. The prayer and fasting assignment of one hour thirty minutes daily for leaders and one hour for members is the minimum benchmark. The minimum fasting is twice monthly.

Indeed, a prayerful Christian is a powerful Christian, it helps in holy and righteous living. In the light of the above pray always with all kinds of prayer including quiet time, family devotion, night vigils, prayers in units, chapters, states and national combined fellowship meetings of HOREMOW.

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6:18. Buttressing further, accurate record of daily prayers and fasting is imperative to avoid lies and over estimation which is sin. Without prayer in the life of a Christian, there cannot be holiness of life so pray without ceasing.

This divine assignment is attached to our making heaven. If you are faithful in doing this divine assignment your spiritual life must be transformed. In fact, many HOREMOW leaders, workers and members pray and fast far above the stated minimum.

There are some spiritual mountains that can only be removed by praying and fasting. However, it must be done void of pride, carnality and must be done in holiness and righteousness to the glory of God.

Thought for the day: A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian

Song for the day: Prayer is the key(x2) prayer is the master key.

Bible reading for the day: Jeremiah 4-5

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
