TOPIC: THE TESTIMONIES OF PETER ISAAC (8): HOW I BECAME A ZONAL EVANGELIST

TEXT: 2 TIMOTHY 2:1-5

KEY VERSE: EPHESIANS 5:16 “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

When I was dipped into the water and brought out, the Holy Spirit came mightily on me. My heart was transformed to that of a baby and became very tender and peaceful. I then joined HOREMOW. I started attending chapter meetings and as I began to read the Bible and attend unit fellowship my spiritual life was built up. A call was made for zonal evangelists but I did not respond.

The next day, I went to the place I wanted to learn tailoring but the Spirit of God began to deal with me. A voice spoke to me saying, “Did I save you for you to go and learn work or to serve Me and preach My word? Why did you not volunteer to be a zonal evangelist? Call your leader now and tell him you want to join them.” I obeyed and was added to those for the training.

At the camp, the international director asked, “Have you joined the zonal evangelists for the stipends that will be paid or to win souls for Christ?” He explained that God tested Gideon’s men and reduced them from thirty-two thousand to three hundred. I told God, “Lord You know that I did not come for money but You told me to work for You.”

As I considered my physical condition, a thought came to me that I will not be chosen for this assignment. What gave me hope was that the Evangelism Coordinator encouraged me that if I cannot go far due to my challenge, I should preach to family members and neighbors and win them to Christ. To my surprise, when the final list was released, I was selected.

Daddy Rika invited all of us to come to camp for prayers before we start and we did so. Immediately Pastor Paul Rika prayed for us, the power of the Holy Spirit fell upon me mightily and from that day, I began to evangelize as if nothing happened to me. I could trek far distances and stand with my clutches for a long period without getting tired.

The zeal of God was so mighty in me that daily I was going out to win souls and invite people to join HOREMOW. Many of them surrendered their lives to Christ and followed me to the Converts’ banquet. I give all the glory to God.

Thought for the day: Do the work of an evangelist; make full proof of thy calling.

Song for the day: The joy of the Lord is my strength (4x) He gives me living…

Bible reading for the day: Jeremiah 51-52

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
