TOPIC: WE DRESS IN OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S  WORD AND FOR HIS GLORY

TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 10:31
31. Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

KEY VERSE: 1 PETER 1:14-As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to your former lusts in your ignorance:

We dress in obedience to the word of God. As obedient children, as obedient ministers, leaders, in the holiness ministry like this; don't fashion yourself like the unbelievers like the way you were dressing before born again. There should be a change now.

People are copying from you. How are you then leading people to holiness, to perfection in life? Remember that the soul, body and spirit are connected together. Dressing is very, very important. And so, if you are obedient to the word of God, you will dress as a holy minister.

We dress to project and reflect the glory of God. In all that you do, do it to the glory of God. When you are going to the market to buy your clothes, when you are dressing to come out, even before your wife and your children; is it to the glory of God or is it in pride? That is very important.

How would Jesus dress? Do I look like him? How would Jesus look if He is to appear before us? He will look glorious and magnificent! Are you glorious? Are you smart? Are you something to be admired with what you are dressing? I mean in a godly way!

Some of you here are wearing slippers and your trousers are nothing to write home about. Some of you have not even ironed your clothes. You have many reasons to give.  Are they acceptable? Although some of these things may not be sinful, but still, appropriate and godly dressing should be seen in your life.

We dress for beauty and glory. Your glory as a pastor is in your dressing. In Exodus 28:2-And thou shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty. For glory and for beauty!

A holy minister should look glorious, beautiful, handsome and presentable in your dressing. So, the priests, Aaron and others dressed distinctively that others will copy and identify them so.

Thought for the day: Obedience to the word of God on holy dressing will bring great blessings and glory in your life

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
