TOPIC: LIVE BY SOUND BIBLICAL DOCTRINE

November Wednesday 11th

Text: Psalm 119:1-11

Key verse: Ps 119: 4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

Take heed to yourself and pay attention to Bible doctrine. Live by them. Do not join others who excuse themselves from these important truths, thinking their ignorance of these truths will justify them before God. Do not be fooled into thinking in your ignorance that the Lord will accept you with sin in your life or exempt you from judgment because of the work you are doing for Him. Examine carefully the Scriptures to ensure that you are fed with the entire truth of God's Word in the church or the Christian organization you belong to. Like the Berean Christians in Acts of the Apostles, go through the scriptures yourself to ascertain biblical truth. Act 17:10-11 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Respect no person, church or denomination to your eternal damnation. Respect biblical truth and comply accordingly for the salvation of your soul. Also know that the salvation you have received can be lost. Be not deceived by the false teaching that when you are saved you cannot lose your salvation in Christ, whether you continue in His righteousness or not. You must be diligent to maintain this free gift of salvation you have to the end, through obedience to the entire Word of God, in order to gain the final salvation at death or Christ's return. Those engaged in evil practices, excuse their actions by giving one reason or the other against these biblical truths. Some even say, “We are in the new generation; those old rules do not fit the challenge of our days.” Their ignorance of these doctrinal truths has excluded them from the life of God. Complying with the doctrine of truth is what makes you a holy Christian. Paul admonished Timothy to continue in the biblical doctrines and give himself wholly to it. He admonished him to hold fast to biblical truths and carefully practice and teach them in order to save himself and those that hear him.

Thought for the day: Only the truth of God can keep you steadfast to the end.

Song for the day: Give me grace to follow

Bible reading for the day: Lamentations 3-5; Hebrews 8

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
