TOPIC: EVERY BELIEVER NEEDS A SECOND TOUCH       November Monday 16th

Text: Ezekiel 36:24-29

Key verse: Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

It is commonly known of believers that after salvation experience the heart still shows some filthiness under certain conditions and circumstances. You may not notice the filth immediately you are born again because of joy and happiness but with time, as you continue in your Christian life, you begin to have some tensions and feelings that you do not actually approve of. They are not obvious sins like fornication, drunkenness and others. These are sins that have to do with the heart. That is why God was practically saying, “My son, give Me your heart. I want to make it righteous. I want to do another operation on the heart that will make it whiter than snow.” Even among the disciples of Jesus, He noticed some kind of life that showed filths and dirt. They were children of God but self-seeking and self-promotion were manifested in them. They were not thinking of how they will glorify God. Holiness has not been achieved completely in their lives because there was a struggle within them.

They may not act openly because of embarrassment, but inside them there was a struggle on who is better than the other.  There was a desire to make self known. God makes a man known, but you want to make yourself known, you want to announce your good works, you want people to know you are different. This shows holiness is not complete in your life. This happens to those who still have the remains of sin, adamic nature and inward pollution in them. My son bring your heart again, let me give it a second touch to make it gentle and settle down so that you will be dead to self and seek only the glory of God. Jesus Christ said, I seek not my own glory but the glory of Him that has sent me to bring you to that state that you will not be seeking your own glory.  When you seek self-glory, it shows dirt is still in your life, you are not yet clean. Sanctification is required to make holiness easy, peaceful and bright in your life.

Thought for the day: Sanctification experience makes you live a holy and peaceful life

Song for the day: Holiness is the beauty of the believer, Lord I want to be holy....

Bible reading for the day: Ezekiel 13-15; Hebrews 11:20-40

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
