DENOMINATIONALISM WAS INITIALLY WISDOM OF GOD

For taking your time to study remain blessed.

TOPIC: DENOMINATIONALISM WAS INITIALLY WISDOM OF GOD November Monday 2nd
Text: Proverbs 2:2-4
Key verse: Proverbs 8:5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
Wisdom is that piece of information that comes to someone concerning that which he should do at a particular time. The time has its own limit. What he does today that is wisdom may cease to be wisdom if he does the same another day. Wisdom applied yesterday may not be expedient today, for wisdom is dynamic. Proverbs 4:5-7 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Denominationalism started with a good intention. It was a child of necessity which came into being when the church of God entered into the hands of ungodly men. These men were blind, wicked and authoritative in running the church of Christ. They led the church away from the truth, righteousness and holiness demanded by God. The church ran into the hands of carnal men. Unconverted people took over the leadership of the church and began to divert the attention of worshippers from the true God to images and idols. While men slept, the enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and quietly went his way.
These ungodly men had occupied the place of authority and their words were final. A sinner was ordained a Pope who claimed to be the representative of God on earth. God did not know him; neither did he know God. Strange people had usurped authority from the godly ones whose voices were no longer heard. The godly people were demoted and sent to jungles where they would not have people to speak to. Others were killed. The work was designed to be done by faithful men but alas, unfaithful men hijacked the work and rendered the faithful ones jobless. Therefore, it became wisdom to separate from these ungodly and carnal people, hence, the faithful ones pulled out of the corrupt system to establish a new one in order to give the people the privilege and access to sound doctrine. When the new assemblies were founded, descriptive names and titles were given to them for identity, hence they became denominational. This was the wisdom employed by the Protestants to deliver the church from the pollution of Catholicism. But then, Satan has again crept in to corrupt the denominations by turning many away from the scriptures.
Thought for the day: Now, Jesus is using HOREMOW for end time revival.
Song for the day: God will make a way, where there seems to be no way
Bible reading for the day: Jeremiah 33-35; Titus 3

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
