SUBMIT TO LEADERSHIP IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

For taking your time to study remain blessed

TOPIC: SUBMIT TO LEADERSHIP IN RIGHTEOUSNESS November  Tuesday 3rd

Text: Numbers 8:9 –11

Key verse: Numbers 3:45 Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.

We are serving God, but we are doing so under a leader. It is the will of God that men serve under leaders. If you think you are too great to serve under a leader, you have missed divine plan. If you lack the ability to humble yourself under leaders, you have missed it. It is either you have not come to Christ or you have lost the grace you received. Christ is humble. He was born in a humble place. Christ submitted Himself to be led by men for some time but you feel too big, too great and too high to submit. Note that going to heaven is a serious matter.

Every minister that claims to have a ministry should consider this: How do you know that you have a ministry? Have you understood the future of the ministry? It is not in a man that walketh to direct his steps; so, be very careful that you don’t take over the direction of your ministry by yourself. You will not make it because man cannot lead himself. Allow God to lead you because there are many things about that ministry you do not know.

The Lord is the One that has your ministry in His hand and directs it to wherever He wants. Be sensitive to know where God is leading. Be very sensitive because He is leading you on the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Where He is guiding you, He is more interested in righteousness than achievement. He is more interested in your holiness than your achievement, hence He guides you on the path of righteousness for His name’s sake. Follow Him. Be sure that you are not stubborn to divine guidance. Be sure that you seek and know His mind well and follow Him as He has told you. As we see this done in the world, so is it also required in the Church, that there should be leaders. Levites are servants in the temple serving God. To serve our God, you must be clean. Be clean in your mouth. Don’t be a liar. Be clean in your heart. Don’t hate people, keep malice or bear grudges. Do not lust after people, men or women. Do not be proud in your heart. Lies and pride should be cleansed out of your life.

Thought for the day: Serve in righteousness and purity.

Song for the day: I will go with Jesus everywhere, no matter the roughness of the road...

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
