TOPIC: DENOMINATIONAL AUTHORITIES ARE SHUTTING UP THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN AGAINST MEN     November Monday 23rd

Text: Matthew 23:1-5

Key verse: Mathew 23:13: But Woe unto you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

The spirit of denominationalism is injurious to the body of Christ. The denominational authorities work against the interest of Jesus in the Church. They are blind and carnal and yet they are the leaders. They have taken over the leadership of the church from Jesus Christ. They call their denominational church “my church.” They exercise absolute authority over the church. They stand at the door and refuse any one from taking any action against them. They make, promote and execute laws that block people of God from God.

The Lord has given the keys of the kingdom of heaven to His chosen ministers but the denominational lords say “No, all these other ministers who have been given the grace to revive the church should not come into our church.” They are not protecting the people against infiltration of false doctrine but are rather caging them from true gospel ministers so that their eyes should not be opened to the truth, else they would lose them. The danger in this callous attitude is that they themselves are not going to heaven and their members who are stuck with them are equally blocked from going to heaven.

The Lord made it clear that His gifts upon His chosen ministers are for the benefit of every man, but the leaders will not allow their members to partake of this grace as they block them from true ministers that do not belong to their denomination. They blatantly declare to their members that “Our church does not allow prophetic revelations.” Some of them boast that no other minister outside their denomination has ever preached on their altar. Some also claim that the best ministers in the world are in their church. What a dangerous statement! This kind of church will be deprived of so many good things.

When the Lord deposited minerals on the earth, He didn’t deposit everything in in one place. He deposited some in Europe, some in America, Asia and some in Africa. Each nation relies on the other nations to get what she lacks but which the other nation possesses. It is the same with gifts and talents. Now that they have shut the door of their church against other ministers, they will surely lack so many things that are beneficial to them. They will surely miss what the Lord is doing in various places all over the world. They have blocked their congregation from accessing the things that are essential towards making it to heaven.

Thought for the day: The gifts and talents God gives to people are for the benefit of all.

Song for the day: Jesus only is our message

Bible reading for the day:

Ezekiel 29-30; James 5

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
