TOPIC: AFTER SALVATION, YOU NEED SANCTIFICATION TO PERFECT YOU FOR HEAVEN
TEXT: Titus 3:5-7
KEY VERSE: Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.

Sanctification is the second experience of grace after salvation. As a sinner, you need salvation by grace to get your name into the book of life. As a believer, you need sanctification by grace to enter heaven. What is sanctification? Other words for sanctification include purity, holiness.  Sanctification is the process of removing the remnant of sin in your life after salvation experience.  It is like when you wash your dirty clothes in detergent, you still have to rinse it in water in order to remove the remaining dirt in order to complete the cleansing process. Sanctification is the perfection of spiritual cleansing that began when you became born again. After your born again experience, you should go back to God to ask Him to sanctify you.

Without subsequent sanctification, your adamic nature will continue to manifest in some inner strivings within you. You may not be seen committing visible sins but inwardly, you will be manifesting some sinful cravings that diminish your spiritual life. Such manifestations include anger, envy, pride and other sinful behaviour that may be causing you serious embarrassments as people observing your life begin to doubt the genuineness of your salvation.  So you need to go back to Jesus and say, “Lord, do a perfecting work in me, rinse me, sanctify me;” and the Lord will do that to give your heart the freedom of righteousness, the freedom of love, and freedom from sin. Even Jesus’ disciples had this challenge while going about with Him in His ministry. They were born again, but not yet sanctified. They were exhibiting anger, jealousy and promoting unhealthy competition among themselves. Jesus noticed it and prayed to His Father for their sanctification before His departure saying in John 17:17, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” Are you sanctified? Ask Jesus for sanctification to perfect you for heaven.

Thought for the day:  You need sanctification for heaven.
Song for the day:  Make me perfect, make me perfect…..

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
