TOPIC: STUDY THE WORD TO BE ROOTED IN THE TRUTH
TEXT: Ephesians 4:13-15
KEY VERSE: 2Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Apostle Paul enjoyed great grace and God used him mightily in his own generation and beyond. God has raised another Paul in our dispensation. Praise the Lord! This Paul, like the Paul of old is also teaching you the whole truth of God that will stablish you in faith and make you gain entry into heaven at last. Colossians 2:6-7 “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built us in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” When a tree is at early stage of growth, you can easily uproot it as a tender plant. But as its root continues to grow deep into the soil, it becomes increasingly difficult to uproot. Similarly, if you are not deeply rooted in the word of God, it becomes very easy for the devil to pull you out of Christ. But when you begin to grow deep in knowledge and understanding of God’s truth, you become firmer and firmer in faith such that you can no longer be tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine.
The reason why many do not stand in their Christian life is because they have not taken time to study the word to show themselves approved unto God. Learn to verify this truth, make personal efforts through reading, make consultations and verify this truth so that nobody would come tomorrow and preach another gospel that will sweep you away. Study these things; study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed but rightly dividing the word of truth. Be a Christian that would go back to confirm the word like the Berean Christians. Go to the source of it. You have been buying from retail, that is why it has been costly to you and fake product is being sold to you as original. Now go to the source of production and get the original at a cheaper price. Get connected with God and be convinced of this truth yourself; take it to God in prayer; every doctrine taught, carry it to God in prayer and pray them into your heart; pray them to take root in your heart so that nobody will come tomorrow and confuse you. Be fully convinced of what you have believed in the scripture.
Thought for the day: Study to show thyself approved.
Song for the day: Read your Bible pray every day, pray every day…..

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
