IT IS YOUR CHOICE
May Friday 18th
Text: Deuteronomy 30:15-20
Key Verse: Psalm 119:173 Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.

Although there is a calling and anointing, there is no compulsion on the part of God for you to keep His commandment because man is at liberty to exercise his freewill. As a free moral agent, he can choose to do what is right or wrong. He is free to take harmful decisions and damn the consequences. You love fornication? God will not stop you. The choice is yours. You love stealing, quarrelling and lying? God will not stop you. The choice is yours. Pastor, you want to steal church money and sleep with the singles and married? You want to use fetish powers to perform miracles, signs and wonders? The choice is yours, God will not stop you. But you may also choose to serve God in truth, righteousness, holiness with diligence, absolute commitment, transparency and honesty. It's all your choice. You have to choose whether to be used as a vessel unto honour or dishonour.

In Judges 14:1-3 Samson made a choice of wife among the Philistines against his parents’ counsel.  Samson had a great gift and calling but he remained in sin. His gift made him tear a lion into pieces with his bare hands. By anointing you can break the yoke yet you are still a sinner. By anointing Samson harvested honey in a bee comb without being stung (Judges 14:7-8). The presence of God protected him. God was protecting Samson to preserve him for the deliverance of Israel. God will protect you to serve in your ministry, it is your own duty to preserve yourself in holiness so that you don't labour for God in vain. Those who serve God in sin end up in hell and forfeit their reward in heaven.

God makes you to see visions, to prophesy, takes you to heaven and hell to lead many to righteousness but if you have no holiness, there is no eternal reward. You can receive reward on earth but not in heaven. Jehu was called to destroy the house of Ahab but he could not maintain holiness. He went into idolatry. God preserved his generations on earth but he was condemned to hell. You have faith that can move mountain but without personal holiness or righteousness it is all vanity. You may have riches on earth because people are showing appreciation, but forget about heaven if there is no purity and holiness in your life.

Thought for the day: Stop shifting your responsibility to God. Choose right.
Song for the day: Where He leads me I will follow…

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
