TOPIC: TRINITY OF THE GODHEAD AS REVEALED IN SCRIPTURE
Text: Luke 3: 21-22
Key verse: John 16:28 I came forth from the Father, and Am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

In the baptism of Jesus Christ, we see the trinity of the Godhead clearly revealed. The Father was in heaven and the Holy Ghost descended in the shape of a dove from heaven and miraculously rested on Jesus. Can we say the Holy Spirit is a dove? No, He is God! What about Jesus that took the body of man? Was Jesus a man? He is God! God can take any shape He desires for His purpose. So, even though Jesus took the shape of a man, He was actually God. Jesus assumed the dual personality of God-man.  It is a unique miracle! As man, he was lower than God the Father, but as God, He was equal with the Father.

John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. In this Scripture, Jesus showed that the Father was greater than Him because He had taken the form of a servant (a man). As a man, He became a messenger. As a Son He was doing the will of His Father. For this reason, His Father was greater than Him, not as divine Being, but as man on earth. It is in this regard and being different from the Father Jesus said in the following verse, I came from My Father and I am going to My Father. John 16:28 I came forth from the Father, and Am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. Jesus was saying in essence, I left my Father to come into the world and took a human form, but now I am going back to My Father. Again, this shows clearly that Jesus is different from the Father.

Thought for the day: Jesus is separate from the Father, yet they are One.
Song for the day: You are the mighty God, the great I AM, Alleluia

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
