TOPIC: THE HOLY SPIRIT IS INDISPENSABLE IN THE LIFE OF A BELIEVER
TEXT: Acts 1:1-5
KEY VERSE: John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

We are in the dispensation of the Holy Spirit. That is why Jesus told His disciples not to depart Jerusalem until the Holy Ghost promised by His Father had come. The Holy Spirit takes residence in the believer when he becomes born again to guide and help him withstand the wiles of Satan.  Some of the roles of the Holy Spirit in the life of believers include:

a) To teach us all things (John 14:26): He is our Teacher.  He explains the word of God to our understanding thereby increasing our knowledge of God which leads to spiritual maturity.
b) He brings to our remembrance all things (John 14:26): The truth of the word of God is constantly brought to our remembrance for our reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness.
c) He testifies of Jesus to us for assurance of faith (John 15:26).
d) He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:8-11). The conversion of sinner depends on the Holy Ghost as the voice of our conscience that rebukes us whenever we do wrong.
e) He guides us into all truths (John 16:13; Rom 8:14): He leads us by inner witness, still small voice, and audible voice.
f) He shows us things to come (John 16:13-15): He is the one that gives the revelation of Jesus and other revelations whether close or open revelation.
g) He is the Christian seal (mark of God’s ownership). As our seal, He commands divine protection over believers and their family until the redemption of the saints (Eph. 1:13 – 14).
h) He is our Sanctifier (Romans 15:16; 1 Peter 1:2) The doctrine of Christian sanctification is accomplished in believers by God through the Holy Ghost.
i) He intercedes for us (Romans 8: 26 – 27)
j) He provides us information from God that are beyond our natural understanding.
k) He is the Revealer of truth (John 16:13). The Spirit’s presence within us enables us to interpret God’s word correctly for our spiritual and material benefit (Eph. 1:13 – 19; John 8:32).
l) He is the Giver of gifts (1 Corinthians 12:7–11). He distributes spiritual gifts to believers for effective service.
m) He produces His fruits in us to enable us develop Christ-like characters (Gal. 5:22–23) etc.

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
