TOPIC: DON'T BE TROUBLED OR GO INTO SORROW BECAUSE OF MARRIAGE
TEXT: Psalm 115:9-11
KEY VERSE: Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Spend more time in the things of God than thinking about marriage. Bible says in Colossians 3:1-4:
[1] If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. [2] Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. [3] For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. [4] When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

This is not to say that you should abandon or neglect family issue or give priority over church matters than family matters, no! But, let your focus be on heaven. God should come first, after that your family, then your ministry or church. Don't be overburdened or go into sorrow because of marriage or because you want to get married. Seek heaven first and pray for its righteousness. I am married to Jesus Satan leave me alone should be your song. Don't yield to Satan to discourage you from your focus on Jesus. It is only then you will get guidance, peace and reward from Jesus.

Commit your marriage plan to Jesus to work it out for you.

Psalm 37:4-7
[4] Delight thyself also in the Lord ; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. [5] Commit thy way unto the Lord ; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. [6] And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. [7] Rest in the Lord , and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Adam did not pray to God for marriage and God knew he needed it, hence He gave him a wife. You ask Him for a marriage partner and He will give you. To know that it is God that gave you your marriage partner will give you peace of mind in the future. The flesh cannot prosper where spirituality is. In righteousness you will get your husband. In righteousness you will get your wife. Don't succumb to parents or family pressure. Commit your marriage or marriage plans into the hands of God and it will work out fine and perfectly. Amen!

Thought for the day: If it is committed into the hands of God, it cannot go wrong.
Song for the day: I am married to Jesus Satan leave me alone

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
