TOPIC: SUBMIT YOURSELF TO THE HOLY SPIRIT AND TO GOD’S WORD
TEXT: James 4:7-8
KEY VERSE: Proverbs 19:2 Also, that a soul be without knowledge, it is not good.

Sin committed unknowingly is the commandment of God broken or transgressed in ignorance. It is subject to divine penalty unless pardon is sought for it in Christ and where required, restitution is carried out. I John 3:4: “Whosoever committed sin transgresseth the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” Ezekiel 18:4 “Behold, all souls are Mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is Mine: the soul that sinneth it shall die.” God is no respecter of persons. Therefore, do not reject or ignore the sound teaching of God’s word that will reveal your sins to you for your thorough cleansing and holiness in Christ. The Lord commands this concerning His followers: Matthew 28:20, “Teaching them to observe ALL THINGS whatsoever I have commanded you.” Cooperate with the Holy Spirit Who is willing to reveal to you all things in your life requiring confession, repentance, restitution and cleansing through the blood of Jesus. John 14:26 But the Comforter, Which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Value the place of true and holy preachers, teachers and pastors in your life. Learn from them, listen to them, acquire their Christian materials, support them and associate with them. 2 Timothy 2:22, “… Follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” Pray as the Psalmist in your daily Christian life. Psalm 139:23,24, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Do you know that it may be the mercy of God that has located you to become aware of these truths right now, in order that you may repent, correct your ways and ultimately save yourself from God’s judgment? Accept the truth of God and make corrections to your life as necessary even if it involves restitution. It is better to face the shame of restitution now than the eternal pain and shame of hell fire.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
