TOPIC:  EXPLOITS THROUGH FAITH
TEXT: 1Kings 17:8-16
Key verse: “And Peter answered Him and said, Lord, if it be Thou, bid me come unto Thee on the water. And He said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus”. Matthew 14:28, 29

With unwavering faith in God, every believer can do exploits in life and ministry. We shall consider some exploits by Elijah and Peter. The just shall be supernaturally sustained by faith. Elijah and the widow of Zarephath were sustained by the little flour and the oil of the widow throughout the famine period.  Elijah said to that woman, This is what the Lord is saying, the oil and the flour shall not finish until the time that God sends rain back on the earth.  The woman believed God and she saw the miracle of God. Joshua told the sun to stand still and the sun stood still. The word of the just carries enough power that can reverse the course of nature. By the word of Elijah, the earth withdrew its rain for a period of three-and-a-half years and by the same word, the rain returned back to the earth again. What a power that God has bestowed upon the mortal man and woman of faith!

When the word of God comes to you that you will finish your school, nothing can stop you from finishing your school.  Those who have the revelation of the word of God are always lifted to a higher realm.  Peter and the other disciples of Jesus were in the boat on the sea.  They saw Jesus walking on the water.  Peter already knew the power in the word of God. He knew that if the word of God was released, it carried with it a complete package of power to accomplish the will of God.  Peter, having known the power behind the word said, Lord, if you are the one, invite me to come. Peter knew he would not survive if he jumped into the river on his own, so he waited for a word from the Lord.  Jesus spoke just a word, “Come.” That one word carried all the power of the Godhead. That word carried all miracle power. That one word turned the water into a solid ground for Peter to walk upon.  The just will truly do the miraculous by faith.

Thought for the day: Faith can move mountain of problems.
Song for the day: With the comprehensive faith in the blood of Jesus, We can move mountain..
Bible reading for the day: 2 Kings 20-22; John 6:45-71

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
