TOPIC: YOU ARE ONE IN FLESH, NOT IN SOUL

TEXT: Ezekiel 18:20-24

Key verse: Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. Matthew 19:6.

In marriage, the man and the woman become one flesh, not one soul. God says "all souls are mine." From the beginning, marriage does not involve one soul or one spirit, but one flesh. The dowry the man pays is over the woman's flesh, not over her soul. We talk about the flesh when we refer to the physical, we talk about the soul or spirit when we talk about the spiritual. Marriage is about that which can be seen with the physical eye. For this reason, marriage is not eternal.

Therefore, you cannot interfere with your husband or wife serving God in a way that is clear to his or her conscience because every soul shall stand before God to give account. No man or woman should force the spouse to follow him or her to church. Rather, persuade and convince your spouse so that he or she can yield to your suggestion voluntarily.
Otherwise, if you misuse authority or influence over your spouse and draw him or her away from God you are sinning against God.
Ephesians 5:22-23;[22]. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. [23]. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

From this scripture, we see that the husband has authority over the wife and the wife is to submit to this authority. Be that as it may, the authority of the man over the woman in marriage is not absolute. The wife will only submit to the husband's authority to the extent that it does not contradict the laws of God. Therefore, let the man exercise authority over her woman in the fear of God. Let not the man misuse his authority as to prevent her from serving God as her conscience has directed her to do.

Let the woman not live in fear of her husband as to offend God. Matthew 10:28; And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. She must not sacrifice her relationship with God in order to protect her marriage. Her relationship with Jesus is eternal; her relationship with her husband is temporal. Let her choose the eternal over the physical.

Thought for the day: Salvation is personal. Do not allow your marriage to take you to hell.

Song for the day: His word be the standard.

Bible reading for the day: 2 Chronicles 23-25; John 16:16-33

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
