PRESERVING YOUR CHRISTIANLIFE IN RIGHTEOUSNESS ANDHOLINESS PART 1
TEXT: 2 PETER 1:3-7
Key verse: Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
You are saved as at today, and if rapture comes you will definitely go with Jesus. But rapture may not come today or tomorrow. This is the reason you must know how to preserve your life in righteousness and holiness. The life of a Christian is constantly at risk and being attacked by Satan, your father, mother, son or daughter or friend could pull you down.
This is why Jesus says in Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Here are instructions for the preservation of your Christian life.
PURPOSE YOUR HEART FOR HOLINESS AND HEAVEN. Fix your heart on holiness. Fix your heart in heaven. Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. There is great energy in a man - physical or spiritual, and also there is great grace waiting for a man. Solomon says, "Whatever my soul desires I reach out and acquire it." So, if you make up your mind to do something you will do it. If on the other hand you make up your mind not to do something, you will not do it.
There was an old woman who saw her son being run over by a vehicle and the boy was trapped under. She shouted and ran to the vehicle and lifted it up freeing her son. People asked her later, "Mama, where did you get that energy from?" “I don't know,” she replied. Peter was determined to walk on water as Jesus did. He never imagined he could sink. All in his mind was "I too can walk on this water." If you make up your mind you will never commit immorality again it shall be so.
When your heart is on heaven, nothing in this world will distract or corrupt you.
Then you can say, “Take the whole world and give me Jesus.”
Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Tomorrow, we shall look at other instructions for preservation of your salvation.
Thought for the day: You need strong determination to become and overcomer.
Song for the day: Where He leads me I will follow…
Bible reading for the day: Ezra 9-10; Acts 1

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
