TOPIC: DO NOT JOIN SATAN TO FIGHT AGAINST GOD - PART 2

TEXT: 1 Timothy 2:3-5

Key verse: John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power tobecome the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

What offence has God committed against man? In what way is God indebted to
man? Has God not been good to man all the days of his life? Can you then imagine man colluding with Satan to oppose and dethrone God in spite of His love, mercy, grace, blessings and care? This is why some people's prayers are not answered. You cannot be in Satan's camp and pray against satanic oppression. But why would man oppose his Creator and Benefactor?

A pastor was bitter with God that he went for evangelism and he came back to find his wife dead. As he was grumbling, he heard a clear and audible voice, "That is the way God behaves. That's why we rebelled against Him. Join us and let's fight him together." That was when the man came to his senses. He shouted "Satan I will not join you." Many have
joined Satan to fight against God without knowing. Satan has corrupted the heart of
men, bringing grief to God. If you don't repent and you die in your sin, God will soon come in His fury and judge you without mercy.

How can you join the enemy to fight against God after all He did for you?
He kept you alive, protected you against your enemies, gave you a job, prospered your business, gave you a husband/wife, gave you children, bought you a car and gave you a house to live in. He made you somebody of worth, not a lunatic, not a prisoner, not a hospital case. Why are you using everything God gave you to fight against Him.

God gave you strength as a young man but you're using it to live a wild life. God gave you money, you are using it to sleep with young girls and people's wives. God gave you beauty and good shapes as a woman but you are using it to entice men. God give you talent as a musician but you're using it for pride and self-glorification. God gave you the Word but you are twisting the scriptures to exhort money from the people. When you get too accustomed to sin, Satan will take you to the next level.

Your sexual immorality will graduate to lesbianism, homosexuality and bestiality (i.e. having sex with dogs, pigs, horses, cows and other animals). Your craze for beauty and fashion will lead you to putting tattoo all over your body thereby defiling the temple of God. Your greed and wickedness will lead you to
using charms, joining cults, witchcraft. All these are man's wickedness against their Creator.

Thought for the day: Fighting against God is a lost battle from the beginning.
