THE MINISTER IS TO TEACH ALL DOCTRINES, NOT SOME OF IT
JUNE Monday 18th
Text: Matt. 28:18-20
Key Verse: Deuteronomy 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Mat 28:20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. Jesus’ command to His disciples when He gave the Great Commission was to teach EVERYTHING he has commanded for all believers to observe. Jesus did not segregate commands such that some churches will specialize in teaching on deliverance, another on holiness, another on breakthrough or another on prosperity and so on. Isaiah 28:9-10 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. After people are born again, they need to be taught all doctrines step-by-step, line-by-line, theme-by-theme, comparing verses that speak on the same doctrine, to bring them into one flow of thought in order to strengthen them in faith. We have doctrine of salvation, sanctification, water baptism, Holy Ghost baptism and so on.  These are landmarks that should never be removed. Proverbs 22:28  Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

Never neglect these doctrines because on them your salvation squarely rests and those of your hearers. Ignore the doctrines and you are no longer a Christian. You are now into heresy leading your hearers astray. The error of a leader is a misleading error. Paul admonished Timothy, 1 Timothy 4:15-16  Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 16  Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. Initial salvation is probational. Eternal salvation takes place at rapture or earlier death. You are born again, but you are not yet in heaven. Whether you enter heaven eventually or not is determined by how you deal with all doctrines of scripture. Paul was very conscious of this fact, hence he ensured that he taught the whole counsel of God so that he would be free of the blood of all men. Acts 20:26-27  Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27  For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

Thought for the day: Christian doctrines are not products on display in the supermarket that you cherry pick.
Song for the day: I will never, never stop my journey halfway
Bible reading for the day: Nehemiah 7-8; Acts 3

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
