FALSE MINISTERS IN THE CHURCH.    SUNDAY DECEMBER 10
TEXT: 1 TIMOTHY 6:3-5
KEY VERSE: “Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?” John 6:70
Not every man or woman on the pulpit is a minister of God. It is better to use their pastor or bishop titles to call them than associate them with our holy God. These days anybody can start a ministry or church. What matters is charisma, not character. They give false prophecies and speak in false tongues to deceive even the elect. Jesus spoke about them in the scriptures.
Mark 13:22-23, “For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.”
They perform great “signs and wonders” and even claim to have seen Jesus. Which “jesus” has been speaking to these impostor pastors and ministers? One of them once claimed that he sat with Jesus one-on-one for several hours during which Jesus told him wearing of ornaments or women wearing trousers is not a sin. Which “jesus” appeared to him? Was the “jesus” authenticated? Did he have the distinguishing mark of the nail on his palms? Did he ask if the “jesus” was the Son of God? Satan masquerades as angel of light so why believe everything you see without verification? The bible says in 1 John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
There are ministers who wear invisible gloves or magic rings to mesmerize their audience. Some go to the graveyard to receive power and some renew their power by sleeping with unsuspecting women. They turn the church into a business enterprise and make merchandise of an unsuspecting congregation. Only the vigilant and spiritually alert will see through their deception and take to their heels. Be warned and stay clear of them.
Thought for the day: Not every man on the pulpit is a man of God. Beware!
Song for the day: All power belongs to God
 Bible reading for the day:
Hosea 5-8; Revelation 1

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
