THE NEW JERUSALEM.    TUESDAY DECEMBER 19
TEXT: EZEKIEL 48: 30-35
Key Verse: And He carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain and showed me a city, the holy Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God Rev 21:10.
In the city of heaven there are thrones, mansions, mountains, hills, forests, rivers, waterfalls, streets, roads, lanes, avenues, outskirts etc. There is also paradise with plenty of fruit trees. There is the New Jerusalem. The glory of God fills the city. The light is like most precious stone like jasper stone clear as crystal. It has great and high walls. It has twelve gates with twelve angels ie an angel on each gate. The names written on each of the twelve gates are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel. On the east side is 3 gates namely: Joseph gate, gate of Benjamin and gate of Dan. The north also has three gates namely: gate of Reuben, gate of Judah and gate of Levi. The west side has three gates also namely: gate of Gad, gate of Asher and gate of Naphtali. And the three gates of the south side are: gate of Simeon, gate of Issachar, gate of Zebulun. The exit of each of the gates of the four wings is 4500 measures(4500 cubit long), that is, the north, east, west and the south sides are 4500 cubit long respectively. The distance round the city is 18000 measures ie 4 x 4500cubit. That is to say, the distance from one gate say east gate to another gate say west gate is 4500cubit long. The name of the city is “The Lord is there” ( Jehovah Shammah).
The holy city - the New Jerusalem lieth four square. The length, the breadth and the height are equal in size. The wall of the city is 144 cubits and is built with precious stones called Jasper. The city is pure gold like clear glass. The foundations of the wall of the city are garnished with all manner of precious stones namely: Jasper, sapphire, chalcedony, emerald, sadonyx, sardius, chrysolite, beryl, topaz, chrysoprasus, jacinth and amethyst. The twelve gates are made of twelve pearls, one pearl for each gate. The street of the city is pure gold like a transparent glass, such that you can see your reflection on it. Beloved what is awaiting you in heaven is so precious don’t allow the mundane things of this world to hinder you from this place.
Thought for the day: The street of the city is pure gold and the houses also are built with gold.
Song for the day: how beautiful heaven must be…

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
